A Steampunk Father’s Day Card becomes an Insect Cage!
I made a steampunk Father’s Day card using my favourite insect die from Sizzix (Tim Holtz).
The thought process for this project went something like this:
Insects → summer vacation → school project → insect collection → insect cage
It started with the idea that I wanted to make a three-dimensional insect cage. However, when it came to shaping with paper, it was a different story. In the end, it was far from the square bamboo insect cage that I first imagined.
It is a steampunk insect cage!
Sizzix (Tim Holtz)のお気に入りの虫のダイを使って父の日のカードを作りました。
虫ー夏休みー研究ー昆虫採集ー虫籠
てな感じでイメージは立体的な虫籠を作りたいと思ったのが始まりでした。
でもいざ紙で形にするとなると話は別で四苦八苦、結局最初にイメージした四角い竹の虫籠とはかけ離れたものになってしまいました。
